Volunteer Opportunites

Get Involved

Raritan Food Pantry is a non-profit community food pantry that depends on volunteers like you!  We are grateful for all of the ways our volunteers contribute, whether it be with their time volunteering in the pantry, organizing donation drives, making financial contributions, offering assistance in the day to day operations, etc.    If you have a special skill that you feel may benefit the pantry (i.e. tax expertise, fundraising), please reach out to us so we can discuss opportunities for you to get involved!

To sign up to sort food for packing or distribute food, we've provided some info below and in the links.  We appreciate you!

Please read all information below before signing up.

COVID Procedures in Place (as of 6/16/2021):

  • Masks must be worn inside.

  • Volunteers will need to answer a short list of questions related to covid symptoms and exposure before beginning their shift.

Minors will be asked to provide an emergency contact number if being dropped off and picked up. *Please note, there may be some slow donation days when volunteers will be permitted to leave early. One of our lead volunteers will remain on site until all minors are picked up by their parent/guardian.

Please review the steps prior to volunteering. Parents of teen volunteers – please read through this with your child. The best way to prepare them is to know what we expect from them.
